Mf guides collaborate with Science department for the upcoming HQ competition:
Wee Kim Wee Challenge.
Growing not more than 5 spices /herbs for preliminary round judging.
Thanks to Ms Sng,
our guides get to learn how to identify various plants,
taking care of them and the various plants' functions. :-D

GIRL GUIDE COOKIE PROJECT 2008

The annual Cookie Project is an important part of GGS as the funds raised support :

fun, exciting and relevant programmes and training, both local and international, for our members

the operating expenditure for GGS, including maintenance of our premises (i.e., Guide House and Camp Christine)

the provision of services to the Community so as to put into constant practice our Guide Law and Promise

We continue with 2 of our popular flavours, chocolate cream and mint cream, at the same price of $10/- per tin. In addition, there would be a (Limited Edition) red tin design with the popular chocolate cream cookies. Together with special gift tag stickers, the Red tins will be priced at $12/- per tin.

This year, there are new activities to make the cookie project more interesting for our Guides, including:

(a) a bright and vibrant Cookie Order form for each girl to collect her cookie orders. This is attached at Annex B.

(b) Cookie Badge. This cookie badge (see design at Annex C) will be given to girls who sell 5 or more tins.

To facilitate our collation of your orders and ensure delivery on time, please submit your orders by Fri 29 Aug 2008. Do encourage your neighbours, friends and relatives to place their orders now to enjoy great cookies and to support a good cause!
